Bored. Listen you are obviously a man who knows his way around a lens but enough with the tits already. We get it, working as a photographer means you can pull all the skinny alterna-girl tail you want. Bravo, now stop. Get out of your studio and try photographing people outside your niche. Spontaneity is so key in photography and your work is getting really stale. From one photographer to another you need to push your boundaries. Didn't you want to be an artist? Give it a try.

Well, I dissagree... There are a lot of different types of photography and you don't have to go outside or start taking spontaneous portraits if you are the best at other type of photography. I like his style, the stories behind the pictures, different characters and a lot of other things. There are a lot of photographers who shoot almost the same, no matter if they do it spontaneous. I haven't seen such style like Nikola has anywhere.

Perhaps, "If" you are the best. If Mr.Tamindzic is the best, what is he the best of? Nightlife photography? That niche has already been overfilled and I don't find his nightlife work all that interesting. I don't, however, take issue with all of his work, just the topless shots really bug me. If the whole goal of a portrait is to convey an aspect unique to the subject, his shots fail spectaculary. Nudity is a beautiful thing, but here it becomes a crutch, a neon cry to "look at me! look at me!". The complete "everyday-ness" of his subjects' bodies is what disturbs me because it does not seem to be the desired effect, but it is what is conveyed by the fact that the models his chooses are very much all of the same type. There is a difference between an artistic style and re-hashing the same old shit (see Coldplay). These photos fall under the latter.
